Zephaniah, (The day of the Lord)..!!!!

The book of Zephaniah is a very short book. As I am reading this I am realizing that these short books of the minor prophets are not preached about much in church. Researchers may call them minor but in my mind they are major. These books speaks to me. These books are for those who seek a better tomorrow. It speaks to people who are tired of this system. 

   A system that does not put God first. I live in a world that is constantly changing. This is a world that promotes sin, and punish those who speak out against it. I live in a world where young youths die each day on the streets to gunshots and it seems perfectly normal. I live in a world where men marry men and women marry women and it is suppose to be the norm. In the days of Sodom and Gomorrah it was not passed as law, but now they have passed laws stating that it is perfectly legal. Whose laws are these?  Is my God dead? isn't he alive!!!! This takes me to the book of Ezekiel where God asks " do you see what they are doing? Ezekiel 8:6 Son of man, seest thou what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations. In the book of Ezekiel God seems surprised as he is talking to Ezekiel about their abominations.  

  We as a people also become perplexed and surprised as we see the changes taking place right before our eyes. It is up to those who know the word to warn the people. To warn them of  Gods judgement and coming destruction. The Lord says that he takes no pleasure in the death of any of us so why should we carelessly loose our life to foolishness. 

   Zephaniah speaks of coming destruction which will take place upon the whole earth. No city or country shall escape. However God tells us, if we will humble ourselves, hearken to his voice, and do his will, such as following his commandments that he will heal us, he will heal our land, he will bless our children and the womb of our bodies, we will not miscarry. The Lord is Good. It is us who have sinned and turned away from him. Let us return to him because we need healing, our land needs healing, our children needs healing, every country needs healing. 

  There is hope,  and God is our hope. If we would only believe and trust in him.  Let the church say AMEN.

Where are the shepherds!!!

Where are the Shepherds?!!!!! 

The shepherds have scattered the sheep. There are many lost sheep seeking a godly leader and that is hard to find. The shepherds now preach a different gospel. They teach that feel good gospel, that come and get your praise on gospel, that gospel that is not saving souls but sending many souls to hell. 

  Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! The sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. 

   The good shepherd however leaves the fold and look for the one sheep that is lost. Luke 15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them doth not leave the ninety nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it. 

Luke 15:7 I say unto you? That likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance.

Plead My Cause Oh Jah!!!

O Lord, (fight against them that fight against me)..!!!

 I stand accused but there is one who will, has and will forever plead my cause. I am his so he will fight for me. Zechariah 3:2-4 And the Lord said unto satan, the Lord rebuke thee, O satan; even the Lord that hath chosen jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel, and he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment. 

  There are no verses in the bible which gives an account of Joshua sinning against God but yet satan stands at his side accusing him to God. Psalm 35: Plead my cause oh Lord, with them that strive with me, fight against them that fight against me, take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and bought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation. All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and needy from him that spoileth him? False witness did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom. I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother. But in my adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; with hypocritical mockers in feast, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. Lord, how long wilt thou look on? Rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions. I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, aha, aha, our eye hath seen it. This thou hast seen, O Lord; keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgement, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord. Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Let them not say in their hearts, ah, so would we have it: let them not say, we have swallowed him up. Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify themselves against me. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long. 

   We all have problems, and we all handle it differently. To read this psalm says, that David was a man who had more than his share of enemies. In the book of kings we learn that David and his men hid in caves to hide from Saul and his men. He had many occasions to take revenge on him but he refused. He could have taken Saul's life but he said, this is the Lords' anointed. He did not have the hate for Saul, that Saul had for him. He found solace in writing the psalms and seeking God for guidance. I posted this psalm because there are times when life is not pleasant, and the people in our lives are not right. So instead of allowing life and all its problems to get the best of me I will take solace in knowing that God answers our prayers. He said that our tears are stored up in a bottle psalm 56:8. This speaks volumes because we mean that much to him. So nothing goes unnoticed, he does not toss our problems or trials away. He has mercy, he will heal and restore us. 

Ish'i ( God Is My Husband).!!!!!

ISHI ( God is My Husband).!!!!!

In the book of Hosea God makes known to us that he is our husband. However we have played the harlot and have not honored him the way a wife should honor her husband. Yes, God is our spiritual husband meaning in all things we should seek, honor and obey him. Instead we have turned our backs and are found worshipping other gods who are not Gods. When our harvest or finances increase we praise ourselves and others instead of praising God. In the book of Hosea 2:7 & 8, it states, and she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now. For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal It is God who makes it all possible. 

   So many relationships are broken. Many wives refuse to allow their husbands to rule in his own house. Women are so independent that they have taken on the role of being a single parent. For Father's Day they say that they are the mother and father to their  children. A woman can never be a mother and a father to her child. She can care for her children as best as she can, but that child without his or her father will always be lacking a need of some sort.  Be it emotional, financial or whatever the case may be, a home without both parents is lacking.

  It is interesting to know that God uses a man to find an adulteress as a sign to the people. Women may not want to adhere to this, but it is the woman who sinned first.  God has given us the gift of marriage, marriage to him and marriage to each other. The same way we have walked away from him is the same way we have walked away from each other. We no longer consider God to be our first priority. Placing God at the head of our household should be first and foremost. When God is at the head of the household that house will stand. When God is not the head of that household we end up with broken marriages, broken children and broken lives. We all know the saying" a house divided must fall. 

  A harlot or an adulteress is one who has been with many men sexually. who has stepped away from her husbandry duties. She no longer listens to her husband. She wonders off to find other men to comfort her. She goes on the hilltop to worship other Gods. She encourages her husband to do the same. Now they both have turned their back on their rightful place. 

 Doesn't this mean that wives should honor their husbands the way they honor God, and husbands should honor their wives the way God honors us. Can we walk out on God and forget that he is our God. If God is the head of the household then why are there so many broken relationships. God should be the rightful head of the household then comes our earthly husband. For not having God as our first love and spiritual husband there are consequences to be paid. 

  Hosea 2:9,10,11,12,13  Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness. And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand. I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feast. And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, " These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beast of the field shall eat them. And I will visit upon her the days of ba'al-im, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgot me, saith the Lord. There are also consequences for being an adulterer and a harlot to our earthly husbands. When families, marriages and relationships break apart we no longer can keep things together. Finances gets ruined, couples fight and argue, love is gone from the relationship, and worst of all,  society breaks down. 

 So let us return to our first husband because he is coming for his bride. 2 Corinthians 11:1-4  Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preach another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. 

Isaiah 62:5 for as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. 

Hosea 2:16 And it shall be in that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ish'i; and shalt call me no more  Ba'al-i.

  

A Revelation!!!

A Revelation!!!!

 Every thing in this world and beyond is created. God created the heavens and the earth. As he spoke to his son, Jesus Christ, in Genesis 1:26 he said, "Let us make man in our image." This means that Jesus is not a created being and that he was there from the beginning with the father in Heaven. However, long before mankind was created the Angels were there in Heaven. We all know the story Satan and 2/3 of the Angels rebelled. Ezekiel 28:15 states, "thou was perfect in all thy ways from the day thou was created until iniquity was found in you." This creates the assumption that the iniquity in satan took place before mankind was created. 

   As I begin to give this thought I realized that the power of God is totally unimaginable to the human mind. I am running with the belief that Satan had no idea that God would create a people (who are a little less than the Angels) to worship him. Imagine thinking that you have all power, power to overthrow the one who created you; only to find out that your power is very limited. (Remember, the potter creates what he wants with the clay.) All the power that Satan has, God allows. So Satan comes and takes my job and income away from me, he also takes relationships away from me, my life is in his hands to do as he pleases. He has removed family and friends, he has bought in sickness and pain. I see some people on the corner begging for a handout, some are homeless, some don't have their right mind. Many are searching for the answer, and the answer is God.  

  As people we get so caught up in our own little thoughts that we are not able to see the bigger picture. Despite what it looks like God still has a plan and his plan surpasses me, you and any evil or force on this Earth. Even though Satan enticed Eve to disobey The Most High plan is not annulled. Even though Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden and all those curses were handed down to us, Gods plan still stands.

God created us to serve him. This takes me to Matthew 3:9, "and do not think you can say to yourselves 'we have Abraham as our father' for I say to you that out of these stones God is able to raise up children unto Abraham." I guess what I am trying to say is satan assumed he knew everything. He also assumed that he could take the kingdom away from God. The bible does say that in Isaiah 14:14, "I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High." Our Heavenly Father knew this and knew that some of us would fall victim to Satan's trap so he made a way for forgiveness by sending his son as a sacrificial lamb. 

The book of Enoch gives reference to Satan and the Angels who rebelled going before Enoch and asking him to go before the Lord to plead their case. How can God forgive them for what they have done? They have completely changed everything. Isn't it a beautiful thing to know that God will forgive us? We don't have to live in sin. His word says "the soul that sin must die. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we all have the opportunity to shun evil and live with Christ for eternity. To live the life that God first intended. So it looks like his promises remains the same. Gods first plan from the beginning still stands, we will live with him in peace and harmony. There will be no more tears, and God knows that I have shed many, there will be no more death, no more sickness, no more sin, no more lying, no more hate. Gods first intention to make a world void of sin still stands for those who believe. Now if you love this world and all that it offers please continue doing you, but I wish for that city called Zion, the city of God to reign for all eternity. 

Dear Mister Government!!!!!

Dear Mister  Government,

Before you get in government you should take a good long look at yourself. Before you make a whole lot of promises you cannot possibly keep, you should consider the lives of the people you are put in place to help. The people who vote for you are more than just a vote. You pretend that you care about the personal individual but all you wanted was my vote. You do not care about the individual. If you cared about the individual and people you would not pass laws that would only corrupt the nation and destroy the moral ethics of life. The laws which are being broken was ordained by the father of all creation. When a nation turns its back on God almighty that nation will soon cease to be a nation. When did you start to forget that people are humans. I believe most government are inconsiderate to the needs of its citizens. Rulers become mindless and powerful. Their only interest is to gain more power but all power belongs to my God and savior Jesus Christ, Yeshua, Jehovah, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  It's a shame you have lost interest and care in the people who voted for you. Now they tell me that my vote does not count.  Exactly what has happened to you . Where is the we can do this together attitude? that energetic enthusiasm about all the things and changes you will bring forth for the future. Changes future generations can be proud of . Proud of the country they were born in, proud of the country they live in. But no" instead I must be careful where I go and what I say because you have misbehaved and treated not only me like shit but you have treated other countries and people like shit. So now every country is out for war. What are we fighting for. But I guess this is what I get when I put my trust in government,  and man and not God. 

There is only one true government and he is coming and replacing all government and that is the government of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 9:6 for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:7 Of the increase of his government there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgement and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The Zeal of the Lord of host will perform this.

What is this thou hast done!!!!!

What is this that thou hast done? Genesis 3:13 And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me and I did eat. God told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, but satan was there to deter them, Genesis 3:4-5"  ye shall not surely die; For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 

   We do not understand the ramifications of sin. As sin entered the world everything changed forever. 

I wonder if Adam and Eve knew what they were up against would they still have listened to satan instead of God. If they knew that eating of that tree would bring forth, destruction, disease, death, idolatry, murder, prostitution, stealing, fornication, lying, sodomy, basically all manner of sin and wrongdoing is what eating of that tree bought forth into this world.  What does it take for human beings to learn. Simply put the Most High God was Adam and Eve's parents. They refused to listen so now we all have inherited this sinful nature which is the nature of our enemy satan. Whomever believes that he has our best interest at heart is worse than a fool. Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 

    There is a force upon this earth which believes that it is greater than God. This spirit of unbelief does not honor the word of the Most High nor does it honor his commandments. We are all in this together. However it seems that it is us against them. Believers against non believers . The Most High God; the God who created all things, how can he be my enemy when he outlined all the guidelines for living safe and secure in this sinful world. He told us, who the enemy is. Many have been blindsided into believing that satan is their God. I read something not too long ago where satanist believe that the devil has our best interest because " Our eyes were opened after eating of the tree of good and evil, and before that we knew nothing. Seems to me that with all the knowledge that we have acquired over the centuries the only thing mankind has learned is how to destroy each other. 

   Genetically modified food or organism is a scientific abomination. I know that science has done wonders for the good of mankind but when it jeopardizes the health and wellbeing of humans based on greed it becomes more the work of Frankenstein than science. How can man's idea be better than the Most High God. What are the long term effects of this. Does anyone know. I can hear God asking again" what is this that thou hast done. I recently heard of salmon being cloned and being put into the food supply! " what is this that thou hast done". 

   Deuteronomy 7:3 states He will love thee and bless thee, and multiple thee; He will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land that he swear unto thy fathers to give thee. I have learned from reading Gods word that if we obey his word and follow his commandments he will bless us. 

2 chronicles 7;14 also states " if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land. There is punishment for sin and there is a reward for being righteous. Many people do not want to hear that they are a sinner but the bible states that we all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory. 

Isaiah 64:6 also states " But we have all been as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness is as filthy rags, And we all do fade like a leaf, and our iniquities like the wind has taken us away. 

     My point for writing this is I know that when we decide to walk with Christ he will continue to bless us and when we disobey the curses is what we will receive. We can blame things on El Niño or Mother Nature but Jehovah is still in control. His word still stands. He said heaven and earth will pass away but his word will not pass away. To the non believer, here is a verse taken from Jeremiah 25:15, 16 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to drink it and they shall drink and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them. 

Psalm 75:8 For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them. The world governments have been complaining about the shortage of food to feed the nations but when drought, famine, floods and disasters happen we try to find every alternative except God. It is sin that has caused the problems that we encounter each day. We cannot solve the worlds problems by our selves. We have forgotten God, maybe it's time we all return to our first love, the God of our forefathers, the one and only true God, the one who created all things, the one who gave us his son Jesus Christ,  Lord of Lords and King of Kings

Psalm 89:14 justice and judgement are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
