Thank You

When things don't seem to go right just remember that God makes no mistakes. The journey is rough but in due time everything will be alright. 

Psalms 149: 1-4 states!

Praise the Lord, sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their king, let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. For the Lord take pleasure in his people; he will beautify the meek with salvation.

So many times we go to the Lord with our problems, but what about when we are happy. Do we become self centered and forget that it is he who blesses and curses. Are we so absorbed with our day to day life that we forget to give thanks and praise.

Thessalonians 5:18 states!

In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you all. How would you feel if you always cared for someone and protected them and they never said thank you. " my feelings would be hurt and I would consider them to be very ungrateful. Well, God also wants to hear us praise him in songs and prayers,"Sometimes we just need to take a step back and say" Lord thank you."
